I honestly came to this show really pissed off.

After attempting to collect myself in a sweet conversation with my friends putting the finishing touches on an outside intaIlation of Lvovich’s worth, I see Poem of Fire and am reminded of my inflammation.

The paint is specifically auto paint, on steel. The mess of tangled quick and agitated gestures is firey and raw. I am obsessed with these specifications of material and the results of grinding tools, excavating the dull center.

It is hard to get Standing Rock besides it being a rock bolstered up by narrow planks.

I lived the stiffness of the rope with the pencil rod. It was titled conscious which I think made me like it more. Felt like my feels lately. Tabgled up and shit. Constantly firings

I see Onjoli, who might be with me begrudgingly today because I don’t think she realized I am trying to write, she was looking at magic lasso. I want to ask her what she thinks but I can’t have conversation right now. More strong horizon lines reaching view.

Also, this star/diamond shapes. The one called green diamond is funny because the green is not the diamond. It out lines the diamond.  The last work hanging up out side as I type is a steel cut out of that sparkle shape I’ve been obsessed with. Just like “motif” inside.

I love the idea of Pompeii and that it surprised me up there in the corner. But I am so over spray foam. I do not care that it is “industrial.” I will say I have never thought about caulk on canvas. I have probably seen it before. It just feels like a thick glob of oil paint. But I’m glad it is not oil paint (say why?)
